Alba Amicorum announces a collaboration with artist Dot Wade
Alba Amicorum (Latin, meaning books of friendship) is a London-based atelier. The brand was founded in 2016 by artist and designer Darshana Shilpi Rouget. Nested in the historic Belgravia Mews, the studio serves as an incubator for wearable textile art.
Specialising in limited-edition silk, cashmere, and natural fibre scarves, each design is created in collaboration with international artists and produced by master artisans in Como, Italy.
Darshana commented, “We enjoy several of Dot’s works in our private collection, acquired through Lemon Street Gallery in Cornwall, UK. We are delighted to have interpreted one of her subtle works, Division in Davy’s Grey, into a limited edition cashmere scarf which we can never tire of admiring.”
The scarf can be purchased at https://albaamicorum.com/collections/dot-wade.
